Cursed Films

In honor of the release of the Cursed Films documentary series on Shudder, we give our insights into the series as well as the legends that surround these films. For this episode we decided to call in some of our friends for backup in case this episode gets cursed. Joining us is the resident ”Fat Dude” of Fat Dude Digs Flicks, Andy Heller. Alongside him is filmmaker and director Dominic Wieneke (13 Fanboy, Death Rot). We breakdown the series, and the films that inspired it.

Shudder’s Cursed Films explores the haunted legends and real life tragedies of five films. The films included in this series are The Exorcist, The Omen, Poltergeist, The Crow, and Twilight Zone. In this episode we also look at the real life tragedies of these films including accidents on set, some of which resulted in death. We do not wish to take these events lightly, and that these tragedies are real. Although the series is called Cursed Films, it does in no way say these films are “cursed”.
