Hellraiser is a 1987 horror film written and directed by Clive Barker. The film is an adaptation of The Hellbound Heart, written by Barker. The soap operatic film follows Julia, a housewife who previously had an affair with her husband’s brother Frank. When Frank seeks the deepest depths of pain and pleasure he is torn apart by a group of Cenobites. In order to be raised from the dead, Julia helps Frank feast on the flesh of others to become mortal once again.
