Our 1 Year Anniversary!

Here we are on our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! To help ring in our one year, we decided to have an impromptu game of Schmuck’s Choice. The game in which we pit two films, or an entire filmography, against one another, in which one will be erased from history. We also discuss the news and box office results from the past week.

The Box Office

Terminator: Dark Fate opens with a disappointing $29 million opening. Joker continues strong in it’s fifth week with $13.9 million in the number two spot. The big surprise for the week was Harriet opening at number four with $12 million.

The News

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss exit their previously announced Star Wars trilogy. It was rumored that the trilogy would take place before the events of Episode 1. Peyton Reed signs on to direct Ant-Man 3, completing his trilogy. A sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has been announced for April 8, 2022.

The first image from the Russo brother Cherry starring Tom Holland has been released. The film features Holland as an Army medic who becomes a bank robber after falling into drug addiction. Seth MacFarlane to adapt Clive Barker’s Books of Blood for Hulu. The Barker series of short stories include what would eventually become Candyman and Hellraiser.

One Year Anniversary

First things first, we have to say THANK YOU! It is because of you that we are able to celebrate our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! To help ring that in we do a little Schmuck’s Choice and announce some major projects that we are working on.
