Pete’s Dragon – Animation/Live Action Hybrid Series

It wouldn’t be a proper animation/live action movie series without a Disney movie right? This week we are joined by comic book artist and illustrator Dylan Jacobson to discuss Disney’s classic musical, 1977’s Pete’s Dragon! We take a look back at the family film, uncover fan theories, and discuss this week’s latest movie news and box office results.

Follow young Pete and his magical dragon Elliot as the two escape from the backwoods Gogan family and seek a new life in the small town of Passamaquoddy. Initially treated as an outsider, Pete soon find’s a new family in lighthouse keepers father Lampie and daughter Nora. When scheming Dr. Terminus arrives in town and catches wind of a dragon, the swindler hatches a plan to capture Pete’s dragon.
