Rear Window – James Stewart Series

Break out that long lensed camera and binoculars because in this episode you’ll be hanging out with a bunch of ‘Peeping Toms’. Welcome to week number two of our James Stewart series here on Back Lot 605. This week we look at the second collaboration between James Stewart and the famed ”Master of Suspense” Alfred Hitchcock in 1954’s Rear Window. We are joined by YouTuber Kainan Becker from Ghost Pirate Entertainment to discuss this classic thriller, the latest box office results, and a little bit of movie news as well!

Rear Window stars James Stewart as photojournalist Jeff who, after suffering an injury while on assignment, is wheelchair-bound in his studio apartment. Spending his days watching, and spying, on his neighbors, Jeff becomes suspicious that one of his neighbors has murdered his wife. Whether it be a series of misunderstandings, cabin fever, or uncovering a murder, Rear Window is a masterclass thriller from auteur Alfred Hitchcock. The film co-stars Grace Kelly, Raymond Burr, and Thelma Ritter.
