What’s in the box! Welcome listeners to the first film in our David Fincher series for the month of December! We are kicking the month off by discussing the first collaboration between Fincher and Brad Pitt, Se7en. Joining us is Criterion Break and Slash Lot 605 co-host Blake Ginithan on this episode. We breakdown this week’s surprising box office results, the little South Dakota movie news, and an over hour-long discussion on Se7en.

Released in 1995, Se7en is directed by David Fincher and stars Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Gwyneth Paltrow. The film follows Detective Somerset (Freeman) in his final week on the job as he partners with the younger Detective Mills (Pitt). The two find themselves in a cat and mouse game with a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his motif.
