The Best of the Fast and Furious Franchise

Disney’s The Lion King continues it’s run with a $76.6 million 2nd weekend. This brings it’s domestic gross to over $350 million. Opening at number two was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Quentin Tarantino’s latest brings in over $41 million. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the highest opening for any Tarantino film. Rounding off the top 3 is Spider-Man Far From Home with $12.4 million.

The News

A24 releases the first image from the Safdie brother’s latest, Uncut Gems. Adam Sandler stars as a jewelry store owner who must find a way to pay his debts. The film hits theaters Christmas 2019.

The first official trailer for Zombieland 2: Double Tap has hit the internet. The film stars four Academy Award nominees and 2 Ghostbusters. Fans of the first film wouldn’t want it any other way.

Did you ever think a movie about Adolf Hitler could be funny? Taika Waititi thinks so. The Waititi directed Jojo Rabbit satirizes Hitler and 1940’s Nazi Germany.

Casey graduated from The University of Sioux Falls in 2017. At USF Casey produced weekly movie reviews and hosted a radio show. He graduated with a degree in Media Studies.
