Welcome to Episode 49 of the Back Lot 605 Podcast! We are joined by Andy Heller, the resident ‘fat dude’ of Fat Dude Digs Flicks. In honor of the release of Gemini Man, we take a look back at the best Will Smith movies! We discuss our favorites, guilty pleasures, and underrated Smith movies. What are some of your essential Will Smith films?

The Box Office

Joker reigns supreme at the box office for the second weekend in a row. The Todd Phillips directed film takes in over $55 million. The Addams Family comes in at number 2 with $30 million. Lastly, Gemini Man under performs with a $20 million.

The News

The rumor mill is churning on the possibility of a Little Shop of Horrors remake. Lady Gaga (A Star is Born) is rumored to be eyed for Audrey. Also, Billy Porter (Pose) is rumored to play the killer plant Audrey II.

The first trailer for the Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt lead Jungle Cruise has dropped. Jungle Cruise hits theaters July 24, 2020.

Lastly, the first poster and trailer for Dolittle has also dropped. The Robert Downey Jr. lead film hits theaters January 17, 2020.
