“The Head” Michael Keene and Matt Walker Interview

Shot on VHS, The Head is a the story of a man…and his head. We are joined by the films writer and director Michael Keene, along with co-writer Matt Walker. The duo hail from Las Vegas, but Walker has ties to South Dakota. Walker attended the University of South Dakota alongside Back Lot 605’s Jameson Pfeifle. The Head is available now on Vimeo on Demand, and coming soon to Amazon.

The Head follows social outcast Peter as he finds himself wrapped up in a love triangle between a punk rocker and a mannequin head. Everything but the kitchen sink is thrown into the film. This includes Shake Weight murders, blood drinking heads, and even a little romance.

Using the forgotten technology that is VHS (yes, even I at 25 remember VHS), The Head is a unique experience you will never forget. For more information on the film and the other works Manatee Party please visit https://www.manateeparty.com/
