Unbreakable – Non-Comic Book Superhero Series

The end of one series leads us right into the beginning of another. After concluding M. Night Shyamalan month last week, we sneak in one more of his films as we begin Non-Comic Book Superhero Month! This week we take a look at the cult classic and fan-favorite film, Unbreakable. We are joined by returning friend of the show Charlie Eccles (aka WrestlingVoice1) and introduce our full-time third co-host…Sam Lenz!

One year removed from their incredible collaboration in The Sixth Sense, Bruce Willis reteams with director M. Night Shyamalan with Unbreakable. Willis plays David Dunn, a security guard at a University who begins to uncover the mystery of how or why he never gets injured or falls ill. When Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) enters the picture he begins to plant the theory that Dunn may in fact be a superhuman walking amongst us. The film co-stars Robin Wright and Spencer Treat Clark.

The Box Office
